Artemis Preeshl creates innovative solutions through her team-oriented approach in class and rehearsal, onstage and onset in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Americas in:
NEA, Equity, and NAST theatres and award-winning film productions selected Dr. Preeshl for her insightful focus on actor process, self-awareness, imagination, and presence on stage and in film, television, and digital media.
A Fulbright Theatre Specialist and Senior Researcher, she directs on stage and screen, coaches text, choreographs, and teaches script analysis research methods, and performance. Artemis is a Doctor of Education with an MFA in Drama and MA in Dance. Dr. Preeshl has taught performance at Elon University, Loyola University New Orleans, Long Island University, University of West Georgia, Utah State University, Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia), University of Madras and LV Prasad (India), and Semester at Sea.
Artemis is a Certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework, a Certified Teacher of Expressive Actor Training, and a Certified Movement Analyst who approaches performance through discovery, reflection, and assessment of the whole actor as a creative agent.
